When my 29-year old iron (a G.E. purchased with green stamps) finally rusted out, I had to get a new iron fast. This Proctor Silex Easy Press is reasonably priced and fairly simple to use. I especially like the steam control feature. I haven't experienced any leaking (that another reviewer complained of) and the retractable cord is a nice bonus. Altogether, I'm quite pleased with this product.

This is a horrible iron... I bought it mainly because of the retractable cord (which doesn't even retract all the way) and as someone else mentioned it leaks water ALL over any garment you try to iron. I received it this afternoon and it is in the box and ready to return.
